
This June, it’s time to take your flag game to the next level! Connecticut’s #1 Elite Youth CO-ED Fall Flag Football league is now accepting 2025 Summer Travel Team registrations.
Tournaments
Blitz flag football teams will travel to the Connecticut Flag Nutmeg Spring Shootout tournament to battle some of the best in the region.
Practices
In preparation for the summer tournaments, each team will hold numerous practices to build players’ football skills and IQ.
About the Season
Infantry Blitz is excited to announce our Summer 2025 Travel Program, designed for dedicated athletes looking to compete at a high level. This coed program will include elite training, film study, and speed development, culminating in competition at the Connecticut Flag Nutmeg Spring Shootout.
Key Details
• May 9th: Summer Tryouts - 5-7pm @ Danbury Sports Dome
• June 2nd-13th: Six high-intensity practices (Mon, Wed, Fri @ Danbury Sports Dome) leading up to the tournament
• Tournament: CT Flag Nutmeg Spring Shootout – June 14, 2025
• Cost: $10 initial tryout fee. $349 season fee, if selected. (includes travel jersey)

• 1.5 hours of on-field training and strategy implementation on the turf

Ryan Howley of Infantry Blitz
Ryan Howley- Head of Infantry Blitz
Ryan played four years at NFHS as a varsity starter. He was All-Division Patriot League freshman year, All-Area Danbury News Times, All-State sophomore year, All-Conference, All-Area Danbury News Times, All-state, Team MVP, Team Captain junior year, All Academic team, All-Conference, All-Area Danbury New times, All-State, Hartford Courant First-Team, All-Star game in New Haven, Team MVP, Team Captain.
In his time at NFHS Ryan scored 40 touchdowns, had over 400 tackles and five punt returns for touchdowns. Ryan attended the Dean College where he was a two-year starter, male athlete of the year in 2006 for the school and all conference. Also, at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy he was a two-year All-Conference starter and team MVP both years.
He is currently a Danbury City Police officer, an Operator on the Western Connecticut Emergency Service Unit and married to Amy with four children.
